Spunky Batt Swap

Posted on: February 5, 2009

It’s about time for a fibery post don’tcha think?  In my most favorite Ravelry group  Spunky Club, we love swaps.  This time around it was 4 oz. of batts, either purchased or made by hand.

Yesterday I received a squishy package in the mail full of luscious handcarded batts,  yummmmmmmmm……

The green batt is pure merino wool, the red/gold/orange batt is a blend of mostly merino wool and a little undyed soysilk.  The lavender/blue batt is a blend of merino, bamboo, nylon and angelina.   I love them all and have plans for them already.

Here’s a pic of the batts I created for Lindsay:

These are a blend of superwash merino, merino, blue faced leicester, firestar and a bit of bamboo.

Up next on the fibery front: handspun and knitting.
